It's simply a piece of paradise in the jungle. Definitely the most special stay I had in Colombia. The owner Gabriel speaks very good English and provides with all information and recommends great places around. The lady who works there (Carmen) is fantastic. She prepares simple but delicious breakfast and takes care of the facility (always with a great smile). The bungalows are amazing, big and simple to relax and sleep well. Mosquito nets everywhere. The big bungalows have and open space above the room to practice yoga. Great restaurant and bar a few minutes on foot. El Zaino entrance for Tyrona Parque Nacional is 2,5 km walking distance. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay!!!!

Posadas Ecoturisticas Seineken is located in the countryside outside of Santa Marta. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens.

The bungalows at this property boast rustic wooden décor, and feature a garden view. Posadas Ecoturisticas Seineken extras include an en suite.

Beautiful property with lots of greenery and some cute pets. We had a lovely cabin with a very comfortable bed. We only stayed for a night but we would have loved to stay longer. The couple running the hostel were very sweet and were willing to hold our luggage while we visited Parque Tayrona for a small fee. There are a few stores and restaurants near the property to load up on food for park visitors. We also enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the hostel.

Providing sea views, Taorayiná nature lodge- immersed in the forest in El Zaino provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. Complimentary WiFi is provided.

Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino is 32 km from the lodge, while Santa Marta Gold Museum is 35 km away. The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International Airport, 45 km from Taorayiná nature lodge- immersed in the forest.

This is a very unique experience that you do not easily get else where! From the bottom of the mountain going up and until you get down again after your stay, you are fully covered into jungle, tranquillity and no-tourism. Out of the real world and back to nature. The way up is challenging, so do not expect a real road and you have to be in a good shape! It is done by bike dudes that bring you to a certain point up and you finish your way up by yourself. The stay is not a normal stay since the hosts Juan Pablo and Marcel take care of you as a family. They cook breakfast, lunch and dinner (for extra cost) for all the guests with the organic food from the jungle and everyone is relaxing, making music, chatting and eating together. But no worries if you need some privacy, the houses are very nice, build as it used to be in a jungle and the dome is a very unique experience in the forest. You can do some hikes in the surrounding area at the waterfall where you are the only one. The stay is sustainable, organic and self-sufficient, so you drink and shower with the mountain water and the toilet feces are used for the surrounding area to grow plants. If you have a weak stomach, I recommend to bring a big bottle of drinking water.

The breakfast was delicious and the host, Johanna was wonderful. The location had views for miles in every direction and even had a sea view. The room was so quiet but being woken up by Howler Monkeys is something I will never forget.

The lodge is magical. It has amazing views, feels like a luxury resort. There are local restaurants to walk to or the restaurant at the lodge was really good. Their Pina coladas were delicious and the pool was a nice treat after a long day of hiking. The staff at the lodge are exceptional. Very helpful and professional.

There isn’t much to like about this place apart from the birds in the trees. It is a very basic lodge with no amenities and unfriendly, unhelpful staff.

Everything was so incredible and was so far our favorite place to stay in Colombia The place is magical, surrounded by tropical trees and green hills. The staff is amazing and incredibly helpful! They helped us so much during our stay, and they were very friendly. They have lovely animals all around the lodge. Nice rooms, great breakfast and perfect location. We’ll definitely be back if we come back to Colombia. Thanks again for having us and providing unforgettable experiences like this one.

A true ecolodge. Only accessible by foot and therefore in the middle of nothing else than beauty. So different than all the other 100 ‘ecolodges’ that are close to the road or at the super busy hiking routes in the park. Waking up with the sound of monkeys and an incredible view from your bed. Beautiful hikes to make in the surrounding or take a rest in the many hang mock’s to choose. The hosts are wonderful and cook you a dinner, make you a coffee, show you around in the jungle or play a tune at the marimba.

The staff were lovely, and this for me often makes all the difference! The food was great, and well priced. The swimming pool was fantastic and they team were busy making small changes / improvements to different areas around the lodge which gave it a feeling of care and nurturing.

Jorge, the owner, was fantastic. He showed me the local area, talked passionately about the wildlife, and took me to get some dinner at a local stall. I saw hummingbirds and heard monkeys nearby at the lodge.
