Quiet, authentic hotel on the edge of town. Lots of space for short hikes and looking for birds and other animals. Owners and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Dinner on site after a busy day was a retreat and enjoyed immensely.

Right in nature. Beautiful place and the frogs are just outside your door. Staff is friendly, food is good. Kids loved all about this place. Pool is small but ok. And wifi worked well

The night walk was wonderful, we saw snakes, spiders and a lot of frogs. The blue jeans frog was stunning and we hosted some bats in our lodge too! Food was plentiful and delicious, we wish we could have stayed longer

You can get close by your own car, but the last kilometers you need the transport offered by the lodge. Some real jungle trails around the lodge, you should use the rubber boots.

The breakfast was very nice, although on the smaller side. The grounds are wonderful for seeing the wildlife both in the day time and at night. We had howler monkeys hanging out by the parking lot, sloth and her baby close by, great green macaws visiting daily, dart frogs, iguanas, basilisk, unbelievable number of species of bids and more

Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were large and comfortable, breakfast was great (we would definitely also recommend the restaurant for dinner), and the lodge is ideally situated for outings like La Selva and rafting. We would recommend this place to everyone visiting the Sarapiquí region.
