The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with hiking/mountain equipment.

The food (breakfast!) is very good, the furnishing is rustic and comfortable and the details of decoration are adorable. The thoughtful touches that went into the decor, snd the communal space with fireplace. It gets cold here, so luckily the rooms have heaters to take the chill off. I hiked the nearby Chorerro Canyon with I would highly recommend. I want to do a bike trip down the volcano and was having a hard time finding an agency to take me - the staff called some local companies they new helped me book a tour for the next morning. Breakfasts were great!

This is not just a lodge, it is a mountaineering museum. If you are in the Chimborazo area and do not stop there, it will be a big mistake. It's great. Expensive but well worth the money. It’s a pity that we didn’t know how wonderful it is here and didn’t plan for a longer stay. Best mountain lodge I've been, and I travel a lot. An absolute must-see.

Marco was so nice and took me for very long hikes all around, the lodge prepared me to lunch to take away for the hikes.
