Boasting a DVD player, the lodge has a kitchen with a fridge, a dishwasher and an oven, a living room with a seating area and a dining area, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with a shower and a bath. Towels and bed linen are offered in the lodge.

The photos don't do the lodge the justice it deserves. Perfect little getaway in the countryside. Vast gardens and lake. Jean the host was wonderfully welcoming with her homemade bread and jams. The kids loved the toys and DVDs provided. They loved picking apples and blackberries from the garden, spotting rabbits, hens and ducks by the lake. The lodge was clean and had all the amenities needed for a cosy stay. Thank you Jean for a wonderful holiday. Also close by was a local pub Railway Tavern which did great food!

    From the very moment we arrived, Leigh made us feel very welcome. Our lodge was very clean and well equipped. The location was perfect. I loved sitting on the decking, looking and listening to wildlife around us. Perfect!

    Loved location, lots of wildlife, lovely hosts, great hot tub. Very clean lodge and facilities were great. Lots of lovely little touches like holder on wall for straighteners and big fluffy bathrobes
