This was an amazing property … so spacious, clean and well thought out… I really can’t sing it’s praises highly enough ! We booked the property to attend a concert at nearby Castle Howard … so close so excellent choice of venue ! It was so lovely to come home that night and enjoy the hot tub in the most tranquil of settings ! Highly recommended …. would definitely return !

As we were second to turn up we were told that we were very lucky that they had 2 lodges spare. Man at the desk was exceptionally helpful and we are grateful that he was able to accommodate us to another lodge. We picked between the two.

Just a bit disappointed in that our booking wasn't actually for the Lodge itself. It was at the OLD Lodgings (annex) down the road......which we were not aware of when we made our online booking. And we only realised when we got there - that sadly it was away from The Lodge. But it was clean and comfortable.

We had a little accident with the filter on the hot tub we explained what happened and couldn't help enough to resolve the problem and to ensure we got our deposit back which a lot of places would want to take your money. Also the lady who manages the lodges came to check and was so polite and did everything she could to help just like her husband did.
