The house is one of the best supplied self-catering houses I have every stayed in and free bottled water, shampoo, cleaning products, spices and other bits and pieces were nice. The pictures really jazz the place up. The views are simply amazing. The host providing a free bucket of scallops that he had dived for himself was fabulous. The peace and quiet, but only 3 miles from Oban is fabulous. FInally, walking distance to the Barn pub, which I know of old; the icing on the cake.

It's well-located and close enough to everything while managing to feel quite remote. The family who run these lodges do a beautiful job and add a personal touch just by being present, friendly and unobtrusive. Great place for dogs too, with a gorgeous forest walk right on your doorstep. Would be an ideal place to bring children to as well.SuzanneFamily with young children

The lodges had everything you need and the barn's food and service was above and beyond. A perfect base to explore Scotland from, we are so grateful! Very quiet rural country location. Rooms are all on one level. Lodge was clean and tidy. We did not hear any appreciable noise from the guests in the other lodges. Our lodge had views out over the roofs of other lodges towards the facing hillside.
