The Lodge was close to the M6 on our way up to Scotland. Our room was super clean, spacious and comfortable with a great shower. And it was very dog friendly with a big garden. There was a warm welcome on arrival and at breakfast. Totally recommend!

The New Inge Lodge has been designed to a high standard, from the minute you are welcomed in it is exceptionally comfortable and comforting. Our room was amazing and breakfast was plentiful and just what we needed to set us up for the day. The staff welcomed us and our dog who was also made to feel very welcome.

Friendly welcome by the lovely Eeva. Good size room and bathroom, nicely decorated, very comfortable and clean. Eeva made our stay - we had B&B booked, but would be gone before breakfast so she kindly offered to swap breakfast for a substantial and delicious packed lunch at no extra charge, all ready for us the night before. The lodge also has a little bar, a lounge, and good outdoor space.

The lodge is well located not for from the M6. The room was clean and very comfortable with a nice view, and the staff were very helpful. There were good facilities in the garden allowing us to enjoy fish and chips from an award winning local chippy outside. The bar had some pleasant lagers and ales to enjoy, and the full English breakfast in the morning set us up well for onward travel. Being able to have our dog in the room was key and helped make a very enjoyable stay.

After our C2C accommodation in Shap cancelled at the last minute, we were lucky enough to bag a couple of rooms at the Lodge. The rooms were large and comfortable. An excellent place to stay and there's camping in the field behind for those on a limited budget or walking the Coast to Coast unsupported. Plenty of parking available too.
