    A truly personal touch from James and family. Flexible and responsive. Nothing too much trouble and so much attention to detail; Hot tub prepared and ready for our return at night, fresh wood in the fire pit, marshmallows for toasting, bubbly in the fridge. Seamless and memorable. We dined at a superb restaurant in Whitchurch and had the most delightful end to the day at the lodge.

    The lodge was gorgeous, extremely clean and comfortable. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The outside area was lovely to sit on and the furniture was comfortable.The biscuits and milk on arrival were a lovely touch. Lots of lovely walks nearby. We will definitely return. Communication before we arrived was also very good.

    We booked a night at Lodge Cottage because we were attending a wedding nearby, but we wish we’d stayed longer. Susie and Donnie are the perfect hosts, so kind and accommodating, even dropping us at the wedding when we missed our taxi. The room was lovely and the breakfast (especially Susie’s scrambled eggs) was just what we needed after a night of celebrating. We’re working on an excuse to come back!
