The lodge is outstanding. It has excellent amenities, highlighting the bed whose mattress is ultra comfortable, and the full kitchen that has all kinds of utensils and appliances. The decor and layout is perfect and we especially loved the window on the roof of the attic. If we ever visit Iceland again we will definitely repeat in this accommodation.

We had a wonderful view of the land and mountains. It was also in a good location for our continued Iceland adventure, and we were close to the Lava Centre and the wonderful Eldsto Art Cafe while here. AND, we happened upon a spectacular night view of the aurora borealis while sitting in the hot tub one night. What luck!

Although we arrived very late we could still have a drink at the very charming bar. The lodge is very beautiful and is located by beautiful surroundings. The room is very cosy and comfortable.
