The air-conditioned cottages feature lake views, a TV and a private toilet. A fridge, an electric kettle and a microwave are included in each. Guests sleep on bunk beds or on carpeted floors in Japanese futon bedding. Some cottages come with a private barbecue terrace.

The location is amazing. Private parking in front of cabin. Two dog parks for our dogs to run in. Very clean inside cabin. The restaurant is cozy and great food. The owner takes pride in this place and it shows. Gave us pet food bowls and towels for our dogs upon arrival. Right across from the lake.

Perfect lodge halfway up a hill, with Mt. Fuji view, huge space house (2 floors), well-equipped kitchen, floor heating, quiet and beautiful enviroment. It takes 15 mins walking, crossing a village, to the lakeside, where is far from crowds. If you climb up, it takes 40 mins to Tenku no torii. The hotel provides free pick up from train station per request, and scheduled shuttle bus to station/supermarket. We didn't drive, but did not feel any inconvenience.

The owner and staff were very nice and accomodating and the meals were reasonably priced and delicious! The lodging has a very cosy and homey feeling so it will feel like a second home. Not to mention you will get a great view of Fuji from your room if the weather conditions are favorable.

Run by a lovely Japanese couple who doesn't speak English but tried their best to make our stay comfortable. House is right next to Lake Kawaguchi and our room has a small view if Mt Fuji which is a bonus! Place is in a remote area so make sure to return home early otherwise it is difficult to find the place in the dark.

    1. View was fantastic, we could see Mount Fuji clearly from the hotel room, onsen and restaurant. 2. The breakfast was truly exceptional, I'd highly recommend it. 3. Room was clean and bright. I was worried that it was would be dark in a remote area but was pleasantly surprised about the ample lighting. 4. Private onsen had bath in balcony area with clear view of Mount Fuji. It was amazing. 5. Coin laundry was a plus, very useful.

Amazing location, just steps from the lake. We woke up early to catch the sunrise and stunning views of Fuji-san. Incredible! There's heating and A/C in each cottage, although we didn't need it. Our cottage had one room with tatami mats and also a room with actual beds. We wished we could have stayed longer. The cats that live at the lodge are super cute and friendly. (They stay indoors in the reception building). Also option to order a grill set up for dinner.

Very cozy ryokan in what is similar to a ski lodge in the States. Awesome location with stunning views of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. The onsen is really nice and was tattoo friendly.
