    The view from the room is amazing. Breakfast buffet was good and the dinners were excellent. The room was very comfortable and surprisingly modern as was the main lodge. We were there on our honeymoon and they gave us a lovely welcome tray and wine. Staff were very friendly.

    The lodge is located at great location, and has many design features to allow guests to enjoy the stunning views over the canyon. The staff is very accommodating, and we had very professional guide Fillimon, who made our trip to canyon’s bottom as unforgettable experience!

    The location. Fish River Lodge has the most amazing views of the canyon. It is worth the ride into the reservation. The food is great, we loved the stake and oxtail.. finally the staff are accommodating and friendly.

    Looks beautiful in photos. The reality is that a freezing, continuous wind through the Canyon made the stay miserable. We were told that this is very common. The view is beautiful from the lodges, however, you won't stay in your room long. There is no heating and no wifi. Free earplugs are provided to block out the raging wind that howls, rattling every window and door during the night.

    The Lodge certainly has a WOW factor as soon as you walk in - the view from ver the Canyon is stunning. The food was excellent. Of such a high standard especially bearing in mind their location. 5 star quality

    All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Special mention to Richard the Manager, Francois and Thomas. Incredible location on the edge of the canyon. Beautiful breathtaking views from everywhere at the Lodge. Amazing dinners and breakfasts. Great lodges allows for privacy and an amazing relaxing stay. Large extremely clean Cabins which are serviced constantly.

    Pool is a perfect cool-down from the heat and the long journey to arrive. The buildings seem to be rather new and are in good shape. Hiking pathes close to the lodge. Non-management personal is friendly and supportive. Spacious rooms.
