The staff were more than happy to organise taxis (which are generally expensive on Ometepe regardless) for you. The pool has incredible views of the volcano, and the main lodge was incredibly relaxing with a well stocked and reasonably priced bar

Information booklet in the room was helpful. The hammock by the cabaña was perfect for relaxing. We loved the outdoor shower. The breakfast was tasty and lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Easy to book tours/ rent ATV from reception (company will bring an ATV up to the lodge for you). The sounds of the birds and howler monkeys around the Cabanas.

We had a bungalow with view of the Volcano from the bed in a lodge style bungalow. The bathroom is open air and you can shower also with this view. Amazing! The food in the restaurant was really great and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The room is very spacious so also perfect to repack your bag. The mosquito net fits perfectly and you don't get tangled when you sleep or try to get out. The wind blows softly through the lodge as it is surrounded by trees. We didn't got cold at all. The lodge is really well maintained They have 2 really sweet dogs. This was magical. The staff at the hotel are absolutely lovely. So kind and helpful. We appreciated Tania’s help in particular. She was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in the wilderness with monkeys, nature and wildlife all around. We liked the pool and pool area and the food was delicious. The hotel and lodges are crafted extremely well. We were woken up to the sounds of howler monkeys in the morning! The shower outdoors was a nice way to wake up in the morning. We had a good mosquito net all around the bed.ms.laurabelleIreland

The breakfast is amazing and the all day free fruit basket and coconuts are just an added bonus. It is clean, quite and peaceful. Loved that eco lodge as it is in the nicest part of the island, Balgue. The lady that runs the lodge also spend her days running and volunteering teaching locals English at the school on the property, Highly recommend this place, do not hesitate.
