Location very good at the quieter southern part of lakeside. Great customer service. Rabin in reception was very attentive in arranging transport and helping me orientate the city. He even gave me a free lift on his motorbike to the medical centre on Lakeside. The hotel arranged for an excellent guide named Thakur for my 10 day trek in the Annapurna Sanctuary. Thakur speaks excellent English, has decades of experience as a guide, booked the rooms with the best views available in the tea houses and catered for my every need on the trek.

They were so helpful with all aspects of our stay including treks, buses, taxis. We stayed for much longer than expected because it was so nice. It’s a real hidden gem that quickly felt like home. The garden is stunning and it doesn’t really feel like you are in a city despite its central location. Hot showers available, Wi-Fi. We will definitely stay here again. A huge thank you to our friends at the Gurkha Lodge! See you again

They welcomed us with a small show of Nepalese music, we even got two Nepalese scarfs and really nice tea. The dinner was good and staff was friendly. Mr. Gopi Mr. Kiran the owners of this place are very friendly person. Mr. Gopi also became our travel guide. we hired him for a day tour. Every morning he made breakfast for us. As a native, they have all the information about Pokhara a tourist might need. I highly recommend travelers to stay there. if I visit Pokhara again, I would love to stay in Gorkha lodge

The location is unmatched and the treatment provided by Bishnu and his family was welcoming and heartwarming. The view is stunning and the room was very clean and comfortable. He also organized a tour for us to the mountains with a very good local guide called Mr. Bom. Bishnu also helped us by organizing our trip back to Kathmandhu. Also, their organic food is absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone who's visiting Pokhara.

The garden is a little oasis where the bustle of the city is easily forgotten. The rooms are lovingly decorated with very comfortable beds. What stands out even more though is the friendliness of the owner, manager and the rest of the staff. They did everything to make our stay as easy and pleasant as possible and accomodated all our needs and wishes without us even having to ask. Pokhara is full of lodges and hotels, but among them all, this is certainly the place to stay!
