The house is fabulous, everything is in tip top condition, it's warm, spotless and spacious. Great linen and lots of great little touches such as chocolates by the bed, great quality toiletries etc. The breakfast was amazing. Robin helped us plan our next steps. This was our favourite stay in New Zealand. Thanks so much Robin.

The guest lounge had fridge, microwave, jug for endless tea and coffee and refrigerating supplies. Very quiet and dark to ensure a great nights sleep. Set in a beautiful garden and easy driving distance to Greymouth. Host was very welcoming, breakfast superb and sent off with explicit driving directions to our next stop. Put Oak Lodge on your wish list.

The host was magnificent and the quality (and quantity) of the inclusive breakfast as we stayed in the lodge was exceptional. The room was big, well equipped and comfortable.

Robin, the host was extremely helpful, Friendly and served a fabulous breakfast. Lodge is very handy for touring the area, and Robin is very knowledgeable about places to visit and routes to take. His Golden retriever Tipo is gorgeous too .

Owner is so welcoming and kind, Breakfasts are amazing while looking out over the garden full of birds. Golden retriever Chico greeted my kids and made them feel at home. Lodge has everything you need, with nice extras like the pool table, log fire in living room, guest kitchenette and TV room, and walking trails around Garden.
