Everything!!! Joe and Patrick’s emails, prior to our arrival, were exceptionally helpful. Its location is stunningly beautiful. The interior layout was perfect for the three of us. While we didn’t utilize the kitchen or hot tub, it was nice that they were available. We slept well here due to the quiet location and comfortable beds. The bathroom was wonderful, too.

Free pool tables/ games etc. we were allowed to stay for longer after check out then the owner arranged us a lift to our bus which was really nice of her and saved us a lot of trouble.

Unfortunately we couldn't take full advantage of the setting because of wet weather. We stayed in Te Nikau Lodge which was attractive and comfortable, catering for six people in three upstairs bedrooms. The shared facilities were super roomy (massive kitchen) - and shared with some lovely people who didn't mind too much having a little one running around. Chris was super helpful with cot and generally with booking etc.

We stayed in the lodge portion which is similar to backpacker style with shared facilities. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
