Buffet and continental breakfast options are available every morning at the lodge.

This motel is very quaint. I loved the style. This is an affordable place to stay in Fredericksburg. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness, hot breakfast, and movie night with all you can eat pizza for $5. I appreciate and support the small business owners who take so much pride in their establishment. I definitely recommend this place as a great, quiet getaway for visiting Fredericksburg.

The Lodge is very spacious. There is a private courtyard with the hot tub. The backyard backs up to a creek & is tree covered so the afternoons are well shaded. Main St is an easy walk, only 2 blks away.

Beautiful peaceful location in a lovely traditional, rustic cabin (number 5). The more modern lodges up the hill also look nice but so pleased we had a cabin. it was lovely to sit outside on the rocking chairs and Star gaze at night. Good breakfast left outside the cabin door each morning at 8am. The field of long horns next to us were a highlight.

No-contract check-in was quick and easy. The staff was super friendly, The room was clean room and the bed was comfortable. I stayed in the Hunters Lodge which was right next to the road, but I knew that going it. There was some road noise, but when the A/C was on you couldn't hear it and the was a white noise machine on the nightstand which helped.

Location fine, breakfast was fair, biggest problem was price, your lodge is nothing more than a motel 6, in some ways 6 is better. The beds were fine, TV poor at best . The overall was way over priced for a 1980’s motel 6. The rooms were clean😊

I liked how clean our room was. The owner was very polite and you can tell he works hard to maintain the place. There was plenty of ice in the ice machine, and the lodge is very close to the Main Street of Fredericksburg.

I prefer staying some place that is not a chain and Hotel Kitsmiller fit the bill. Vintage travel lodge, unique decor. Our room was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. They're also pet friendly.
