Friendly welcome, doggie came to say hi too and gave us a lick 😄 Very cozy, comfy suite with separate bathroom all nicely decorated. Free toiletries and complimentary coffee. Good sized fridge, microwave and free WiFi. Parking on street right outside. Friendly town with riverside park and a few restaurants/ coffee shops for dining. Garden out the front with decked area and plenty of seating with BBQ.

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful place. The lodge is so nice and the view on the river was amazing. The staff was also super friendly and helpfil. We even got to use the bbq grill. The bed is super comfortable which is a huge plus!

The rooms are very large and have a refrigerator and stove. The staff was really nice and the location on the Kern River is great. I will definitely stay here again

The room and amenities were more than ample. There were rocking chairs overlooking the Kern River and a large deck with BBQ and steps down to the river. The room was very attractively decorated with fishing themes. The river area along the highway to the north is super scenic. Great at communicating, prepped good breakfast for us and was always available when we needed something - Thank you! The location is exquisite and quiet indeed - the name suits the lodge. Kern river flows right behind, you can see it rushing right from the room, and the sound of it too if you listen closely. Nature lovers can spend hours just gazing at it. Dog friendly and one of the closest lodges to the Trail of 100 Giants in Sequoia National Forest.

I loved the fireplace and patio…that view! This is not a huge lodge so we had plenty of room to move about. The pool was spacious and very clean. There were some great attributes to the property that were picture worthy.
