True resort feel. Beautiful outdoor pool, hot tub, and cabanas. There were multiple outdoor areas to hang out - fire pits, courtyards, etc. I could see this place being enjoyable in the winter, too, with its indoor pool/hot tub, and multiple fireplaces in the indoor congregation spots. It has the lodge feel. The Miller’s Table restaurant was fantastic.

This is clearly an old motel/motor lodge that is in the process of being refurbished. Our room was very nice and the location had perfect access for our visit to Cedar Point. I will look forward to see how they complete the rest of the property and would gladly stay there again for the value and location.

Staff were friendly and helpful and communication with the lodge before and after my stay was very good. The room was a good size, well appointed, clean and quiet. The bathroom was also a good size and water pressure and temperature were good. The aircon worked well. The location is reasonably good - a short drive to shops and restaurants and about 10 minutes to the city centre. Car park right outside the room was good. Overall value for money was reasonable.

Off the beaten path gem. The Millsite Lodge is unique and inspiring. We stayed in a stable room. The room was spacious and immaculate. Limited side table space for personal items. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were spacious. The property was huge offering guests plenty to do.

I loved and my daughter too all the activities that the lodge offered. Such as the Waterpark, Magi quest, mining experience, and the arcade. Even the ten paw bowling. Our room was excellent and everything was good price

This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. The room was very modern and clean! The TV also had many options to choose from. I have also stayed at the Econo Lodge across the street and regretted it 100x. When staying in Sandusky, the La Quinta will be one of the first on my radar!

The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it is close to Cedar Point. Staff was really friendly. Editing this to say that for anyone who finds a 2 year old review for this place from me. That review was posted when the name was Econo Lodge. I do not know why these places change names and I can not edit that older review to state it was under a different name either.

An absolute gem, one of the highlights of my drive across country! We were graciously greeted and invited to roam the grounds which were beautiful at dusk. As it was a weeknight, the Lodge was quiet and peaceful. The shared space outside the stable rooms was welcoming and perfect for a picnic dinner.
