The Bad Rabbit restaurant located on the property was so good! We loved being right in the mountains. I wish we would have known about the special access road to a private scenic view behind the property that requires a 4x4 awd vehicle. Once we got there we thought we should have rented a four-wheel drive vehicle to get to our room. (There was no paved area within the lodge property, and there were deep ruts. Terrible for a normal vehicle, even in the lodge area.

Fine little restaurant for dinner; terrific biscuits n gravy at breakfast the next morning! I also really appreciated learning the Terlingua Ranch Lodge has partnered with Big Bend and the Dark Sky program and keeps lighting to a minimum at night. In June I actually saw the Milky Way right outside me cabin. Pretty darn cool.
