Our stay was good till i called on Friday enquiring about booking an extra room, which they said is available and continued to book it for me but then on Saturday when we wanted an extra room was told they're fully booked. The continued to charge us for it, we refused to pay. One of the couples had to go look for a place to stay outside the lodge.

The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. It is clear that the manager knows how to run a lodge. I need to make special mention about the service of Ignitius & James, excellent. The breakfast was great and the dinner superb. What a gem of a place. Ideal for a rural wedding or conference.

Although free breakfast was included, I didn't take it as I left fairly early each day. The lodge is relatively close to the mine lab I visited and to the Thubatse Crossing shopping centre - so, convenient. It was reasonably quiet with no road noise. Off road secure parking with manned security at all times. Equipped with a generator all windows and doors secured by Trelly doors and bars. Enough plug points provided to charge and use personal electronics. It was clean and functional

we booked only one night at the Lepelle Lodge on our way to Joburg. Since we arrived late we were unsure how to get to the accommodation in the darkness. The owner was super friendly at waited for us at the gate to lead us to the lodge. The place is exceptional. The lodges are located on a hill overlooking a small waterfall and mountains. You are surrounded by nature. On the way back we encountered baboons, giraffes and kudus. Franz was also super friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious.
