Gorgeous location in the hills. Great walks. Clear night skies for seeing the stars. Wood and bbq facilities. Indoor wood burner. Loads of nature to see as well as domestic donkeys and horses. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It had a nice location right in the centre of Clarence, Karel immediately made me feel comfortable and made sure he answered all questions you had. The room was comfortable and large with a little sherry as an extra surprise! Internet was fast and the lodge had water all the time, where there were water rationing in the town in general (you only need to know that the knocking sound when the private water is turned on and off is from the pipes and not someone knocking at your door :-) ).
