Breakfast was good, Since we are very keen on bird photography the fact that the owners put bird seed on a large flat stone twice a day under a tree in the extensive lawn outside our room gave us an amazing opportunity to take exceptionally good close-ups of many colourful and interesting birds. Lovely views of the Drakensberg mountains from the lodge's expansive grounds.
