I can sit and enjoy the view while the kids are entertained. David and the staff are EXCEPTIONAL! We come back time and time again as their service is truly above all the rest!

We ate at the lodge instead of self catering and the food was very good - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The surroundings and the lodge are lovely, a perfect place to relax for a few days.

The breakfast and the supper were excellent. Once at the lodge, it was beautiful. It is quite remote, one can't pop out for a drink or a snack. The restaurant has a beautiful setting although the front stoep needs TLC.

Staff very friendly, lovely room with fireplace and all little details to keep you warm (it was quite cold during our weekend stay). A cosy and homely feel. Sometimes things can be a bit on the slow side, however, the quality of the home-type hearty food and friendliness certainly does make up for it. Also find it very good value for money. Will most certainly be happy to stay there again!

We loved that the lodge had large grounds for our furry babies to enjoy. Breakfast and dinners were delicious. Rooms were clean and very comfortable.
