The serenity, the friendly staff that made sure I was well taken care of and the amazing chefs who dish up the most amazing food. I had one of the best full body massages while there and was soo pampered from head to toe at the spa, highly recommend. The location is amazing and very easy to locate.

The booking.com listing incorrectly states that the lodge doesn't allow children which isn't true. Children are more than welcome and the place is an absolute haven for small kids. We stayed in the Hornbill lodge which was lovely. It has a huge lawn for running around and garden paths for toddler bikes. Lovely pool area and outdoor patio. The games room with a ping pong and pool table was also great fun. The rooms, furniture, bathrooms are all beautifully decorated and well maintained. We loved being able to walk and see giraffe, zebra, impala, wildebeest. The lodge manager Kevin is always available and very helpful and the staff were friendly and welcoming. WIFI is fast. It's a short 2.5 hour drive from Joburg - we'll definitely be back!

Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Clean and neat accommodation. We had a wonderful stay. (Inverter assists with loadsheading challenges and pressure pump for gas geyser)
