The location is just amazing. My family and I had such a relaxing and wonderful time at Mtunzini Forest Lodge. The log cabin was situated in the shade and surrounded by a bush which made it feel like we were there all alone. Swimming pool and slides were well enjoyed by the kids. Will definitely return. This is my new favorite place.

The location was very convenient for what I had come to do- wedding was at Ngoye lodge. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The owners are also very friendly though we didn't interact much. There was a big dog on the property which initially spooked me but only to find out that he/she was very friendly and didnt even mind me hahahaha

The staff at Ngoye Lodge went out of their way to help us make the most of our stay in Mtunzini - they really went the extra mile. We stayed at the Nguni Cottage, which was beautifully appointed with a lush garden. It was quiet and peaceful. We didn't experience any load shedding due to the battery & inverter. The staff arranged a canoes for us, and also helped us rent bikes and arrange birdwatching with a local guide. We loved our stay and want to come back!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful - they went out of their way to assist us, give us good ideas and information for travelling, and we're very accommodating. Room 1 was perfect - spacious, with all the appliances we needed, including a gas hob and air fryer for convenience. Mtunzini Spar was well stocked for our 4 days of self catering. The lodge is quiet and peaceful, with many birds, shade and clear sounds of the sea. The breakfast was a welcomed addition too.
