The closest shopping is in Engen Sherwood Service Station, there is a Spar there as well as a nice coffee shop in the property next door. I got to the lodge in a rain storm, so I used the fireplace in the evening, it felt wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked. Even a French Press for making coffee was there.

We didn't expect much as we knew we weren't going to be at the accommodation for a large part of our 2 night stay, but I must say, the friendly service we received upon our arrival was excellent, we felt right at home. The host and staff were super friendly and helpful The unit was well equipped and the small fireplace was a welcome addition. There is a generator incase of power outages.
