Laluka was exceptional in every way. It was our favorite of four excellent accommodations in South Africa, and our favorite among the high end safari lodges we've stayed at in South Africa and Kenya. Some highlights: STAFF - Giulia is an excellent manager. We booked without an agent and she was very helpful in coordinating everything. She is very responsive and a great first interaction with Laluka. Didier and Simon (also managers) were super friendly and helpful also. We felt so special the entire time, with everyone going above and beyond. PROPERTY - The lodge is simply stunning. The pictures don't do it justice. You enter by crossing a bridge over a waterfall (assuming there has been sufficient rain), which the deck also overlooks. The decor is gorgeous and reflective of the natural environment. FOOD - The best I've had anywhere in the world!!! Chef Tintswalo is incredible. We brought our two kids and Chef was very accommodating, making chicken fingers and fries and pizza. There are several choices for each meal, and food is plentiful. We dined in a different spot each meal (by the pool, overlooking the waterfall, on the deck, inside at the kitchen bar and at a table) which gave us unique dining experiences. ROOM - Perfection. Comfortable and luxurious. For the bug averse - we had no bugs in our room, everything is well-sealed. GUIDE/ANIMALS - Our guide Sibu was knowledgable, passionate, friendly and fun. In our two days at Laluka we saw black and white rhino, elephants, lions, giraffes, zebra, cheetahs eating an impala, wildebeest, warthogs, kudu, jackals, a chameleon, dung beetles and more.

The breakfast was great, the chef daily choice was excellent, there was no such a thing like same food every day. The chef was changing his dishes. The facilities were cleaned , it was the best birthday time spent while celebrating my 50th birthday. I intend to return, I miss them. I was positively surprised daily , they made me feel like a queen. Thank you very much. And this feeling at home away from home, only Inzalo can provide travelers with that experience.

This was our best bushveld experience yet. The place is beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff were so accommodating. In our short stay of two days we saw the big 5 with multiple viewings of lions on the hunt, including lions trying to catch a baby rhino (with no success). Our game ranger, Steven made every minute of the game drives fun with his knowledge of the bushveld and his passion for it. The best game ranger I’ve ever seen. Thank you Ekuthuleni you will definitely see us again!

It is difficult to overstate how special this property is. It is a beautiful lodge in a private game reserve. Jess and Neil manage the property and do a fantastic job, with no exception. The food is exceptional and the service is great. The rooms are stunning. Jess was always welcoming and clearly runs a very tight ship at the lodge, as is reflected in the service and overall experience guests have. However, the property really comes into its own with the game drives. Neil is an immensely experienced and passionate guide, who leads both entertaining and educational game drives (which were max 4 guests per vehicle during our stay). The extent of his knowledge and interest are difficult to sum up here, but it can simply be said that he was a top tier guide with responses to every question. He actively sought out animals we were looking for and went to every effort he could.
