Absolutely beautiful island; facilities have clearly been carefully thought out to maximise guest enjoyment. The north sauna was amazing, and the glamping tents lived up to the promise of their pictures. We would definitely come back!

Angervo is set in Miehikkälä and offers a terrace, a private beach area and barbecue facilities. Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, fishing and cycling. It’s a fantastic spot in the middle of nature. While the hut is small it has everything you need for a pleasant stay. All the facilities are brand new. Separate wood-heated sauna by the river was also top notch. Extra plus for the hospitality and excellent service mindset of the host.

Kouvola
Providing garden views, Heinähattu in Kouvola provides accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. We've been in Finland for 2 weeks, this was by far the best accommodation. The house is very cozy, you feel like home. There is a lot of space in all rooms. Of course, the alpacas are the extra cherry on the cake, especially if you are with children. Having breakfast on the back porch was the most serene experience- just us and the alpacas, surrounded by the forest. Service-wise Petri was very responsive, very friendly. Unlike other accommodations in Finland the bed linens were already assembled when we arrived and included in the price. We easily drove from here to both Paijanne and Repovesi national parks for great hikes.

Very local, great experience. The place felt very «genuine», not like a tourist magnet. The snow mobile safari (experienced) really pushed our limits, we felt the adrenaline! Really intimate and cozy sauna area.

Even the location of hotel is a bit far from central Helsinki, the neighbourhood of Käpylä is really nice with old wooden houses and nature not far. The staff is helpful and friendly and the family room was spacious and tidy. Also really liked the breakfast, which was tasty and varied.

Very good location and nice surroundings in a cosy neighbourhood. Appartment is in an old wooden house. Easy to park. Quiet area and hardly any trafic. Light appartment and nice size kitchen. I you want to cook yourself, be prepared to take a saucepan with you as there is only one in the appartment. Wifi was working well. It was good that there where slippers available as in the autumn the floor was a little bit cold.

The breakfast was beyond amazing and the shuttle from the hotel to airport very nice and worked well. Also enjoyed the bike. There is a beautiful church (St. Laurence) with wooden houses near by.

Haltia Lake Lodge won Best Sustainable Hotel in Europe 2022. it is very easy to access from Helsinki or the airport. Beautiful forest, lakes and walking trails. Helpful staff and a very comfortable bed. Perfect.

The location was great for both the airport and city centre and the Puu-Vallila district opposite shows how Helsinki used to be (wooden houses). Key collection was easy and the host very responsive. The flat decoration is very nice and it is really well-equipped for a longer stay.
