Accessed only by boat from Panajachel, the apartments at Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments come with a large seating area, plus a dining table and a private terrace with lake views. The private bathrooms are equipped with a shower and toilet.
Lovely lodge near Santa Cruz, the Transportation from the dock to the lodge worked flawless. The staff is very friendly, helpful and fast (thanks again to Viandy, who did an amazing job and also booked for us the transportation from Gua city to the dock and back).
We also enjoyed the free SUPs and Kayak.
The vegan restaurant was amazing. We had the Thanksgiving dinner and some breakfasts and they tasted delicious.
All in all it's an amazing location, very quiet and we really enjoyed it.

The whole family ensured my comfort and were able to provide me with very useful information. I recommend such comraderie to anybody passing through, especially solo travelers.

Great location with the best sunset views! It was a very spacious apartment with a well equipped kitchen. The updated bathroom is a big plus, you have nice vulcano views while taking a shower :). Also good contact with the host. Also, all the boats know the sunset lodge so its easy to get around by lancha.

Atitlan Sunset Lodge is brilliantly located right on the lake with beautiful views all around it. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food served in the restaurant was fresh and very tasty, even as a non vegan. The Lodge also provided kayaks and paddle boards which can be used free of charge which allows you to explore around the lake. Overall it was a lovely short stay at lake atitlan

Stunning lodge, tastefully decorated, amazing views over Atitlán. So close to San Marcos, an easy 10 minute walk. Felt secure as well, and loved the private dock, great for a dip and sunset watching. The water here is clean, which is not the case around much of the lake sadly. Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay at Atitlan Sunset Lodge. The studio had everything we needed--a comfortable bed, a cozy reading nook, hot showers, and a well equipped kitchen. It was easy to catch a water taxi from the lodge's dock to different towns on the lake. They also had paddle boards and a kayak to use for free. Our stay was very relaxing and quiet.

it feels like a home stay - the place has a very warm vibe. food is wholesome - I was vegan throughout my stay there. the location is v convenient which is rare for lodgings in San Marcos

Everyone was very nice and the treehouse was a unique and cool place to stay. The food was good. Tell the boat from Panajachel that you want the dock for Sunset Lodge. The Santa Cruz stop is overshooting it.
