This is one of my favorite hotels ever. It’s perfectly situated at the riverside of the Mekong. Watching the sun set over the hills while listening to the sounds of small boats is amazing. The rooms (situated in old, but modernized Lao wooden houses) are fabulous, clean, very comfortable bed an pillows, great bathrooms. And all is designed with an eye for the detail. Not to mention the great breakfast. In fact I just booked another two nights simply because I liked it so much…..

Beautiful property with a a lovely garden & great views across the fields to the mountains. The Owner Frederic & his fiancé & staff are very kind people & made my stay very special. Special mention for the food, great breakfast included, fresh pasta for dinner & lots of western and Asian dishes. I mentioned I loved Red Duck curry & the next night they cooked it for me & it was the best one I’ve ever had… Nam Dong Park is a 5 minute walk from the Lodge.

The guesthouse is a wooden house laotian style, really close to the night market and the river.

We loved our stay in Naga Lodge, Frederic and his family was very attentive, welcoming and took good care of us. Food was amazing and I highly recommend to try it out during the stay. Area and surroundings are beautiful, half kilometre away there is nature park in which you can hike whole day. Staying in Naga lodge was a highlight of our trip in Laos. Don’t be afraid of remote location is totally worth it even if you don’t have your own transport, Frederic will help you to arrange transportation.

Clean and fresh lodgings in prime location. Short walk to restaurants, cafés, markets, Mekong River etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cold water for topping up your water bottle. Basic breakfast included. Payment options include choice of currencies / cash or card. Staff acknowledge firm Asian mattresses and offer to fit a topper for us sensitive westerners :)

A lovely quiet location right on the banks of the Mekong river. The rooms are old wooden houses that have been transported and rebuilt on the site. The very best place to watch sundown over the Mekong. The owner was extremely helpful with ideas and interesting anecdotes, we could have listened to him all day!

The Hillside Nature Lifestyle Lodge is an oasis in the mountains outside of Luang Prabang. Staff is exceptionally friendly and the owner can give you advice on anything you want to know. Great food, great drinks, fantastic herbal steam bath (must try!).

Khan took care about us during the 4 days we spent there. From all the people we met in Laos, he was the one ! He is so kind, professional and friendly as well. He made our stay very special. The lodge is located in a very beautiful surrounding. It's perfect to relax. They provide a shuttle to go to Luang Prabang every day ( 10am and 5:30 pm) Our driver Guy has been very kind and always on time. Thank you to Holger ( the owner ) for bringing us our bag we forgot at the previous hotel. Good communication between the team.

There were so many activities for the kids, they loved it (and so did I because I got to relax and read my book!). Staff was also excellent, very accommodating. Food was fresh, vegetables coming from the lodge's organic garden.
