It was on the lagoon part of bentota - lovely pool over looking the lagoon - champ the fisherman took us on good river safari and we went night fishing too - the hotel then cooked our fish the next evening (although did over charge for doing so) so would propose that for the future you agree a price before hand

The Landlady is very kind and cares for Tourists. There is always drinking water. Common Cooking facilities and a big fridge. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds with good matress and mosquito nets. Very beautiful tropical garden by the Bentota River and have canoes and Boat Safaris .

This is an amazing place for nature and bird lovers. The owners created a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature in a very comfortable lodge. If you choose the option with the bungalows you even have a big private pool. The vegetarian food is delicious and the owners everything to make you feel "home". Highly recommended!

A very spacious and comfy unit which has everything we needed. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, organizing for us a river safari and a Tuk Tuk for our tour of Lunuganga and the Brief Garden. Harinda, the guide who offered the river safari, is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the mangrove, and its the flora and fauna. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari. The Tuk Tuk driver, Waruna, was extremely patient and helpful. Fans of Lunuganga and the Brief Garden would find River Breeze Villa a convenient base.

We had a great time thanks to the incredibly hospitable family. From assisting with laundry to arranging shoe repairs and connecting us with a boat safari on the Bentota River, they went above and beyond. The first-floor room was lovely, and the dining area was comfortable. The local breakfast was tasty.

First and foremost, Nelson was fantastic - so welcoming, helpful and had such care for his guests! Nelson organised a river safari for us, which was brilliant. Also, his food is well worth it!! Delicious! The place is peaceful and relaxing - a perfect stay. 100% would recommend!

The staff were really lovely and helpful. The owner helped us organise both a river safari and surf lessons for us all. We really enjoyed both activities and it made the stay very enjoyable. The breakfast as well was great with fruits, eggs and tea/coffee. Definitely would recommend staying here

Good location, very close to the beach and many restaurants. Clean. Amazing breakfast, Wi-Fi. Good price. We felt at home here. We had an unforgettable trip at Bentota river safari. Property is on the beach and well maintained. We had spacious family room opposite to pool. We enjoyed our stay of one day Enroute to Colombo from yala safari. Owner of property made sure to arrange good vegetarian options for us in breakfast.

We loved everything. It was our first stay in Sri Lanka and it couldn’t have been any better. The team helped us with everything: airport transfer, boat safari, turtle farm, restaurant recommendations, etc. Also the very early arrival wasn’t an issue, they even arranged an extra breakfest for us. The accomodotion was very clean and the swimming pool perfect.
