Arawe is a newly renovated 150-year old nature cottage located around 400m from the centre of Ella.

The cottage stands on a 5-acre land overlooking a rice paddy field and is the only guest accommodation on the property.

Offering barbecue facilities and a garden. This lodge comes with 2 separate bedrooms. I don’t have enough good words to describe this place. We left with a heavy heart this morning, that’s how much we loved it. The bungalows are crafted with such love, attention to details and taste. It is surreal to be so close to Ella Main Street yet having your own nature haven. The place is so peaceful, you will feel completely disconnected from real life and be in your own bubble. The food is excellent, prepared in front of you at breakfast in your own little outside kitchen. They even have a little local crafts shop where you can buy macramé items made by local women they are supporting. I absolutely cannot wait to go back again, and this place has definitely been the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much for everything!

It is a stunning location, situated in the forest, with amazing views of Ella Rock and the surrounding area. The room was large and comfortable, with stunning views to wake up to. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The place is amazing! Feels like a 5-star hotel but with love approach. The host pays attention to the small details: the towels are soft and fresh, there are roses in different places as welcoming, arrival drinks with a cake. I felt in love with the place. The terrace is also so nice. I could observe the squirrels and some special Sri Lanka bird. The furniture is modern and stylish. It is very near to the center and bus station. I will stay there next time when I am in Ella. Amazing hospitality.

Ayubo Ella's location is also a plus, just 1.2 kilometers away from the heart of Ella, and conveniently close to the train station. A pleasant 20-minute walk brings you to the station, allowing you to explore the surrounding areas with ease. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's staff, who were incredibly friendly and attentive. They made us feel like part of the family. The breakfast they served was superlative - a delicious spread that energized us for a day of exploring. And when it comes to dinner, I can only say that the flavors were simply divine. Now, let's talk about the rooms. The room we stayed in was not only spacious but also equipped with all the necessary facilities. It was clean, comfortable, and provided a brilliant view right from our window. Watching the sunrise from the room was an experience I'll cherish.

Wonderful Hotel in the middle of nature, right next to some great hiking paths. The excellent service as well as the amazing food, clean and beautiful room and careing personal make this place a location that we would definitely come back to and strongly recommend for everybody m, who wants a nice and quiet place, right outside of Ella.
