Dangela Boutique Lodge does not offer self-catering accommodation and the kitchen on the premises is not for the use of guests. The position was lovely and quiet. Hospitality was outstanding thanks to Daniel. It was very comfortable and that included the bed. Breakfast was extra but this was also lovely and worth it.

This is an outstanding luxury property, one of the best in the country. The staff provide the highest level of service, the breakfast and evening canapés/drinks are excellent and the evening dinner superb (extra cost but worth it). However the best part comes from the views from the terrace and pool as well as from the large well appointed room and the large jacuzzi. It is expensive but stay here if you can.

Beautiful accom, beautiful surrounds, Kaye is an amazing woman - take the time to chat to her! Comfortable bed, love that shower! There are 4 upstairs rooms in the B'n'B, and a shared farmhouse-style kitchen downstairs, but we virtually had the place to ourselves.

Definitely would love to come back!

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool with spa pool, Warkworth Lodge is a 3.5-star boutique motel just 5 minutes’ walk from cafes, restaurants, shops and the Mahurangi River. Guests can enjoy local wine and cheese by the fire place in winter or by the pool in summer, that are available on request. There is free unlimited WiFi. Wonderful location near McLaren Falls, the property was just passed the falls on the hill and over looked the river. The park and cafe were tucked away almost opposite the exit drive to the property which was a gem with trees and forest walks and lovely cafe.

A terrace is available on site and both hiking and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. View is stunning even in bad weather. Peaceful, very clean, modern and chic furnishings incl bed and linen, building is old and with character, the two bedrooms were very spacious, wonderful doors that opened to the balcony that overlooked the trees and pond below, and a glimpse of the sea beyond, Prime Tv that kept us entertained in bad weather, and wonderful personal touches like a welcome bag of chocolates. It was great meeting Clare who welcomed us warmly and showed us in.
