Set in tranquil surroundings with large landscaped grounds and a picturesque garden terrace with mountain views, Tongariro Crossing Lodge offers uniquely spacious rooms with historic character. A garden is featured. The staff provided exceptional guidance so that we could take stunning views of the mountains during sunset. Very high quality breakfast. Overall, exceeded my expectations in this rather remote/resource limited (to a city person at least) location.

Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, skiing and billiards. Unbeknown to the host our Whanau live directly across the road so to find this gem was perfect will definitely come back

Ruapehu Country Lodge is situated alongside Waimarino Golf Course, and is just a 5-minute drive from Ohakune's town centre. Wanganui Airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive away. Breakfast was amazing! A great spread in the living room with other guests. Marie and Bernie went out of their way to accomodate us, helping us out when we couldn’t get dinner in the town over Easter weekend.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. A daily, shuttle service is available hourly from 6:00 until 9:00 to the Tongariro Crossing & National park. Free parking is available. Everything ❤️ We had an amazing stay, staff let us check in earlier which was helpful as the weather was not nice to go on the crossing 😅 Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Also kitchen and lodge was cozy and nice to hang out on a rainy day.

Located in Bulls in the Manawatu region and Palmerston North Convention Centre reachable within 31 km, Lancewood Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. We especially liked the sitting room area with the tv and that we could stream Netflix. It was really warm inside and felt like our own home for the night. We liked how we were allowed to use the kitchen facilities and the multiple bathrooms. Rooms were nice and clean with comfy beds and nice mink-like blankets.

Pipers Lodge Accommodation is a 10-minute walk from National Park Train Station. Turangi is 41km away. Everything is Good and comfy the staff’s their are so friendly and they will assist you right away, they also have free breakfast and also hot coffee and chocolate
