We loved Nativo, hidden away this peaceful getaway provided quiet and privacy to unwind and spend quality time after a few days in Lisbon. Equipped with all you need including woodburning stove, bbq, sunbeds and dipping pool the owners provided little extras and attention to detail that made our stay personal. We thought the outside bathroom might be a bit of an adventure but it was lovely, clean and well fitted out. All round a great place to hide away!

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Wifi worked very well. The host was very friendly. He didn't speak English but somehow we could communicate with him.

Located just 42 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela, Branca Gonçalves Belmonte provides accommodation in Belmonte with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Featuring a balcony, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and skiing. There was a refrigerator, small oven, microwave and one ring electric hob which enabled us to self cater easily. There was a supermarket within 10 minutes walk away which sold meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, beer, wine, etc . We arrived by bus from Guarda and it took about 30 minutes uphill to get to the house. Museums and Castle within walking distance so no need for a car. The house is small but everything is there for you to enjoy in a very peaceful and picturesque surroundings. The owners gave good and easy instructions regarding how to enter the property. Lovely little seating area in the back garden overlooking pleasant scenery. House in quiet part of Belmonte with no traffic noise.
