We had a wonderfull stay at Andolia! Such a beautiful and quiet place with good food! We were picked up with a 4x4 to get to the hotel, because there was no paved road. We made use of the private sauna and had a good look at the moon with the telescope they had, it was amazing 🤗 we made hikes directly from Andolia in the mountains and relaxed at the fireplace at night. The staff was very friendly and we are sure we want to come back again!

Right in the middle of the two restaurants in Pestera (one SUPER vegan friendly, also a massage/yoga/spa place so expensive, and the other with an extensive traditional Romanian cuisine menu with huge portions.. and very affordable !) Our host was sweet and kind and made my husband and I an amazing breakfast catered to our dietary requirements and hunger levels. Impeccable facilities and cleanliness. We wish we stayed more than one night!!

Good location, you can use it as a start point on the north Transfagarasan road. Parking is literally in 5 meters in front of apartment. Hosts are polite. You can use barbecue, if you'd like to. Beautiful view from the territory. Bears may come to visit you at night, so keep the doors closed :)
