We had a wonderful stay at Castaway Lodge. Would highly recommend staying here. The location was perfect with the sea right across the road. All the staff were exceptional in helping with anything we needed. The pool was perfect as it had a seperate section for my toddler. The games area in the reception was brilliant for the kids with lots to do.

Everything, It was as described a beautiful Eco lodge Set in stunning natural gardens with wild life all around. Birds, gheko. Lizards, Fruit Bats. A lovely host who was friendly, informative and helpful. Short 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 restaurants and a small super market.

Hosts are nice and friendly. Lodge is located in a beautiful garden. Takamaka rum distillery is aboout 400 m.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Especially when there was a some confusion with our booking. We were taken to the rooms and told we had booked two rooms, but after talking to another member of staff, it was resolved and she allowed us to have a room with a little more space as we had a lot of luggage. Note that if checking in after 3pm, you have to go 'Wooden House Cafe' just at the entrance when you turn in. If mosquitos love you, bring a lot of repellent.

We had a great stay at Runway Lodge prior to our Seychelle departure. They coordinated a taxi pickup from the ferry (SR 350)and then also took us to the airport the next morning (included). Omar manages the property and very helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Omar and also our driver recommended Curry Nation for dinner and that didn't disappoint. We enjoyed the pool and also met the owner who lives next door. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived. We were very lucky to be met by Abdel Fatah from the front desk, he was great in giving us ideas as to how to spend our time in Mahe and which locations to visit since we had our own rented car, the Mission Lodge View point was breathtaking, we wouldn’t have thought of it, but thanks to Abdel Fatah we didn’t miss this experience. We will be coming back to the Savoy for sure again, next time with the rest of the family. The room was fabulous so we’re all the hotel facilities.

Denis, the lodge manager, is really sweet and helpful! Also, the bedroom was very nice, confortable, super clean, as well as the bathroom. The lodge is super close to the airport.

A gem of a place which we found in a last minute rush as our flight was delayed. Very clean and hosts were fantastic. very close to airport and the owners of this small place were so helpful and provide free international / domestic flight transfers. A great find and would totally recommend runway lodge if you need a overnight stop.

The best of all four accomodations (nearly same price range) at the Seychelles! Mike is a great guy and helps if there is any problem or questions! Thank you for the stay! Great lodges in the middle of the forest. Such a nice welcoming! Quite near to Port Launay our favorite beach and snorkle spot.
