The staff at the Cottage provided superlative quality services! They were always helpful and went beyond what I would consider is reasonable. For example, the staff prepared a breakfast pack of coffee, toast and eggs for me when I had a 5am start.
The food was excellent, dinners were like a gourmet restaurant for a modest price.

Beautiful lodge with the most amazing views over Kibale Forest and even onwards on a clear day. Very nice, private cottages. Food was among the best we had during our 3 week trip in Uganda.
The lodge, which seems to be quite new and has a cute garden, is away from the hustle and bustle of Fort Portal (which also means that it can't be reached on foot). The room and bathroom were clean. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious.
Surprisingly nice lodges with a breathtaking and exceptional vieuw over a crater lake. Very nice staff and a very good chef ( Ben) who made the most delicious meals for us. In a very small kitchen. And served in a little open restaurant. And a very friendly owner ( Bonnie) who could tell us a lot about Uganda and who accompanied us when we were visiting a primary School in the community.
Amazing work being done here in the local community which we witnessed first hand. The lodge itself offers incredible views from the rim of the crater lake. We enjoyed the food, especially breakfast looking out at the peaks of the distant mountain range to the sound of laughter and singing from local school children. This is a lovely place to stay for a couple of days, especially as we could walk down to the lake and enjoy a beer by the water there. The money you spend staying here goes back into the community. It's a win-win for everybody
The location, the lodge, the breakfasr
Amazing and high standard lodge in the beautiful crater lakes area. The owners, staff, food and rooms were perfect... We stayed 4 nights and immediately felt like home. Relaxed energy and beautiful views... It felt like the owners thought of every tiny detail that you would have the best experience.
Beautiful lodge, very friendly staf, beautiful view and delicious food. We can highly recommend this place.
The view from the lodge is just fantastic, the rooms are clean and the staff do everything to make you feel comfortable. Would definitely come back again!
I had the most amazing stay at Mwamba Kelele Lodge. The stuff was amazing, they cared for me a lot, organized Boda drives for me and prepared the most fantastic dinner in the evening. The beds were comfortable and had a mosquito net. Not to miss is the view on the Lake Mwamba, including sunsets if you are lucky. You can hike around the area or even rent some bikes. I will definitely come back.
This is a beautiful place with a stunning few from the dining terrace! You feel the african spirit with an european management! Each room is a private bungalow with its own view and well designed interior. Adding to that the lodge also supports local producers and its a really green place with many local plants. A place to come back! Thank you to Karen and Gerry for having us and your help with the car ;)
