I didn't realise the dinner was included. it was delicious and magical to sit outside and watch the game. liked the honesty bar and the pool to cool down after a long drive. the room was super comfortable too

For the rooms and suites, breakfast and dinner is served at Naries Namakwa in the hotel’s manor house, which is classically decorated with red curtains and chandeliers. Meal options, for the self-catering cottages can be arranged for a surcharge. We stayed in the mountain suite - beautiful structures in a wonderful setting. The suites and how there are decorated really allow you to have an off grid getaway. Bring a good book, a good bottle of wine, fill the magnificent tub and just relaxxx! Friendly and helpful staff! Plenty of nice food and drinks :)

The nearest airport is Vredendal Airport, 160 km from Nuwefonteinskop Lodge. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent. The hosts were perfect and after a very long drive they did everything to make us comfortable. The walk up the Koppie was unexpected and a real treat. If you want noise and nightlife do not go but if you want tranquility under the stars it is just the perfect place.

There is a seating area and a kitchen complete with a fridge, a microwave and a stovetop. This place is absolutely idealfor couple, family and friends. The room is clean and big, the beds are confortable. You are in the middle of desert and during the night you hear just wind/birds. Animals are sundered and it takes 1 hour (with a normal car 1hour and half) to go to kgalagadi n. P. The common space is huge and well-equipped. We have all we need.

After a bit of a muddy trip on the lodge road, from where we turned off on the road from Hopetown, we arrived at Gkhui Gkhui, the most beautiful lodge on the banks of the Orange river. Everything was perfect and our host, Heidi went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The rooms are stunning, with a fabulous outdoor double shower. The deck at the lodge had a magnificent vista while there was a lovely welcoming fire inside. Our meals, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious. We really wished we could have stayed longer. You will not be sorry if you decide to stay here.

Situated in Augrabies, Daberas Guest Farm offers self-catering accommodation in the in the Augrabies area. This eco-friendly lodge is reliant on solar power and a water desalination system.

Each unit at Daberas is air-conditioned with a low-energy water cooling system. They all have a private en suite bathroom and a private entrance leading from the thatched veranda. If you ever want to experience a really quiet and special accommodation, you have to come here to Hanneke, Kobus and Angelo. Warm and helpful hosts with great tips of what to do locally, really nice accommodations (we had the pleasure of using both) and the wonderful serenity were great. The loudest noises around the campfire in the evening were the crackling of the firewood and the clinking of the ice cubes in the glass - and that with a spectacular starry sky. Simply fantastic. We've experienced a lot on our travels - and it really is one of our accommodation highlights. And if you're here - don't miss the great fillet when Hanneke offers it to you.
