Despite being close to the highway, we have enjoyed the fact that the Alpine Motor Inn has carefully managed its location and gardens to minimise road noise. Very comfortable and equipped with electric blankets for the extra cold nights in the Blue Mountains. The reception staff explain the locations of close by attractions and breakfast was also available, but at different accommodation (Metropole Guest House), full buffet breakfast at $19, great value.

Location is very convenient with all the surrounding restaurants and shops. We like the feeling of living in an English estate house in the old time, and drink mulled wine in front of the grand fire place in the lounge is a fabulous experience. While the room is in traditional decoration, it offers all the modern comforts.
