Swagman was excellent and great place to stay because of the lodge, games, fireplace, snooker, game room, children room, bar, coffee, and snacks. Its owner operated and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this place to visit and stay. The apartment was beautifully appointed. There is a Nespresso machine (wish I'd known about that, I would have brought my favourite capsules), dishwasher, laundry, 1.5 bathrooms. It has a lovely view, the night skiiing fireworks were great to watch from there. The bar is small, with a pool table (which I think you have to pay for, I didn't play). There was an amazing visiting American bartender who made some awesome cocktails, perfect for apres ski. We booked the restaurant, which has generous servings and had live music when we

It is the very best loaction on the resort. The hotel is between the Village 8 and express quad chairlifts so getting the slopes is a breeze. And who doesn't love skiing back right to the door. The restaurant and Bar are great. Very tasty food and good selection at the bar.

Staff were very nice and the whole place felt cosy as well as being so well preserved after about 60 years. We were collected at the tube and from that point on they took care of all our luggage which was a nice touch. Same on the way back. Food was good and everything you needed was right there in the lodge.

Breakfast was ok, maybe a bit more variety and stock. Staff were great.... obviously some teething problems with the beginning of the season but still service with a smile and nothing too much problem. Hotel was comfortable and excellent location. Would def stay there again however you are paying for the location more than the luxury so be aware that even though you pay to stay there do not expect 5 star luxury. Dinner menu was excellent.... far exceeded our expectations. Every meal was great.

Location second to none, overlooking Perisher valley from the ski slopes; convenient ski in ski out; we are vegetarians and there was always a good choice for us - they even made some things specially for us for breakfast one day. The public areas of the lodge are nicely kept, furnished, and decorated with 1950s-60s memorabilia. The atmospheric guest lounge is comfy and cosy and has a stupendous view of Perisher valley.
