Well situated half between the beach and the city center, Johnson homestay is a great family house with a nice garden. The rooms are clean and well furnished. Johnson is very welcoming and very committed to his guests. I particularly appreciated his advices for the ferries in the backwaters and I had a memorable experience. Even if I didn’t have the time to do his tour on village canoe cruise, the guests who did it were really satisfied. Wonderful stay !

Xandari Riverscapes are a fleet of house boats which sails along Vembanad Lake and in the backwaters of Alleppey. The houseboats are docked near Pallathuruthy Bridge.
The traditional houseboats, called "kettuvallams" have wood harvested from local jackfruit tree plantations, hand-stitched by local craftsmen with coconut fiber rope.

An exceptional experience! This was an trip to remember for many years. A wonderful landscape and environment in the Kerala Backwaters and the trip on the boat captured all of the beauty and majesty of the area - both the wildlife and the villages, churches and of course the people. The boat was beautifully furnished, with very comfortable bedrooms and an area at the front of the boat to relax and lounge and watch the scenery go by. The food was outstanding prepared by a sympathetic and knowledgeable chef, who was always at hand to discuss the menu for the next meal and to tell us about the cuisine. The crew were unfailingly helpful and courteous. All of this contributed to one of the best holiday trips that we have ever had.

It's a nice remote place close to the beach.we went during summer and can't expect muh a pleasing weather. We took the 3 rooms on the first floor and has a good time. Our pet popaye also enjoyed the stay The beach close to the resort is not at all crowded. It's better to go the beach as a group The main beach is just 2.5 kms from the place

Beautiful place. The room was really big, actually the biggest dorm room I ever stayed in. Beds individual, not 2 floor, that gave a feeling of more privacy. Very comfy mattress. Really big bathroom. Very clean. The owner very friendly and assisted with all questions. Beach few minutes away. There are few small shops nearby to buy snacks, and also cafe available in the hostel.

My room had a very comfortable bed, there was a fridge in common area, a hairdryer and two comfy seats and a small table. Breakfast was substantial with a savoury option plus eggs, toast and tea and coffee. Robin also offered tourist bookings and the tickets he got for us at the theatre were excellent - front row. The accommodation was well placed for a 10 minute walk to a variety of restaurants and there were tuk tuks readily available for longer journeys.
