Only 4 mins walk to center of Gravedona with shops supermarket and restaurants and information center. you can get boat or hydrofoil to the other resorts or a bus stop is 1 minute walk way we thought why pay three times as much to stay in the other resorts in an old looking hotel room when you can stay here in a luxury brand new apartment just a few stops on the boat from the more busy resorts. or the bus stop is also 1 minute walk away from the apartment we hopped on the bus to Menaggio it’s about 20mins bus ride and we got the hydrofoil boat back The apartment also comes with a free parking space Ramona the host is very helpful a lovely lady she helped us in with our luggage and answered any questions we had.

The apartment is in a beautiful, very quiet place, with a wonderful view from every window, equipped with everything to feel at home, no matter how long or short you stay. An extremely important factor for us is the new fully equipped spacious kitchen. The location is convenient for walking, both up the mountain and down to the shore promenade and the embarkment. Gravedona itself is perfectly located for exploring both the western and eastern shores of the lake, if you are by car, as well as for walking along the lake shore (amazing promenades from Domasio to Versana, and from Gravedona to Dongo),and the mountain routes with breathtaking views towards the lake. Silence and distance from crowds of tourists were very important to us, as well as beautiful nature combined with historical sites (ancient churches, the wonderful Gallio Palace). In September we were practically alone on the hill. Much more could be said. It was a delightful vocation.
