Having stayed at the New Inn on numerous occasions with work, its always exactly as expected.... Clean, comfortable and the staff are great. Annie is always so welcoming with a big beaming smile and a "Hi Rob, nice to see you again...." Meals and drinks in the adjacent pub are superb value too and once again, the staff are outstanding.

The staff were very welcoming, room was good and the dinner was great. The chef took time to come and say hi after our request. The meal was outstanding and wanted to mention it to the chef personally.

Great building with bags of character. My room was cosy with good facilities. Unfortunately the drains in my bathroom were smelling so I informed reception who came straight up with the maintenance man. They were very apologetic and upgraded me immediately to an even better room! Fantastic service and response, why can't all hotels treat their guests like this. Absolutely brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. 5 stars!

The hotel was excellent with very friendly, helpful staff from the receptionists and dining room/chefs to the cleaners. it was spotless and the rooms were well-appointed and modern. A set of drawers would have added a useful extra. The breakfast choice was superb. I wasn't able to sample food at other times because of my schedule. The price was really good in such a useful location near both bus and train links and in the middle of the city centre. I have already highly recommended the hotel to friends. Thank you, Silurian staff!

We have stayed in the Priory twice before. It is a lovely hotel and professionally run with excellent food. Not all hotels are professionally run. The quality of decor in the rooms are better than a lot of so called 4 and 5 stars hotels. We have family near by and will stay there time and time again as we consider it a lovely treat. If going, book dinner in advance as it is likely to be fully booked if you leave it until you get there.
