Just about everything, from the staff who went out of their way to help you. The rooms were perfectly made with clean towels and bedding everyday. The restaurant and bar staff are always ready to help, and the food was unbelievable, first class.with the menu changed each day.

The room was beautiful, comfortable, snug, furnishings were top class. Whole of the interior of the hotel was amazing. We only stopped 1 night due to delayed flight. I will be going back in the Summer the view from hotel over the bay is gorgeous.

The hosts, Alex and her husband, are so friendly and helpful. This is our 2nd stay at the Porthole and we wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Every aspect of the hotel surpassed my expectations. The welcome and continued care and attention from all members of staff was outstanding - so many thanks. The facilities in the bedrooms could not be bettered. Likewise the breakfast choice was outstanding.

Our room was well furnished, spotlessly clean and had good quality bedding and towels. The breakfasts were superb with an excellent choice. The stunning gardens and summer house were an added bonus. Well worth the five stars that it has been awarded.
