We absolutely loved the open kitchen/living room/dining room. We travelled with someone who needs a frame, kitchen stool and other medical support. He was able to be fully independent and mobile in the fully equipped kitchen. The fire place was excellent. And the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and basic cooking spices. The water pressure and temp was excellent in the shower. The lighting was cool & we ordered some for our own home! And there were plenty of hooks for bath towels, pyjamas, etc. We will absolutely be back!

The location is excellent for touring the Cotswolds. Very peaceful with outstanding garden and countryside views. Acorn cottage is warm and cosy with everything you need for a perfect stay. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Mike is a lovely host. Our second visit and we look forward to returning in the future.

Stunning place - beautifully presented accomodation. Gorgeous location, went for a short walk around the village. Lovely garden areas to relax in while the sun was out. The restaurant was lovely and food was delicious. Highly recommend

The rooms were cosy and contained everything you needed, the friendly local pub atmosphere was outstanding and the staff and owner were unbelievably friendly and helpful. It was the perfect base for our explorations. We tried amazing food (chef is superb! The beef was delicious!) and got local tips for places to visit and to avoid and where to park! Was very sorry to leave.

The bed was superbly comfy with lovely bedding. The shower was brilliant. The food here is also really good, with a good chef (rather than a cook basically heating dishes up, which you get in so many 'gastropubs' nowadays). Good range of ales and gins, and some very nice cocktails.
