It is a small hotel but perfectly formed with exceptional staff and manager. The chefs (3) were outstanding and food the best. I know this sounds too good to be true but is the truth. Try this place and see for yourself. I cannot praise the staff and chefs too highly, overseen by a very customer focussed manager. Better than the 5* hotel I stayed at in Colombo

I would say the best food we had in Sri Lanka in my entire trip.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. The breakfast both mornings was superb and we had dinner there the second night which was absolutely delicious. The wife is Indonesian and she cooked chicken rendang and other dishes. I highly recommend you have dinner there. It was a lovely evening and we had nice talks with the owner.

We especially loved our balcony and the remote controlled air conditioning. Chicken kottu for dinner was outstanding and breakfast was more than sufficient. Fresh juice was presented to us on check-in and the owner was fantastic when it came to organising bike rental and a tuktuk to Mihintale. Special mentions to the driver who took us to numerous other sites on the way and offered plenty of information.
