Room and the bathroom was very clean and very comfortable. It had all the amenities which has any star rated hotel would have. Spacious and cozy. Bathroom had a bathtub with a jacuzzi facility. Samodaya, the care taker cum manager took care of all the needs we wanted without a trouble. Breakfast was really good. More than what we expected. We met the owners as well. Very humble and polite. Very reasonable with the price as well. Overall, very good place to stay, work, or leisure. Highly recommend place.

On the day of checkout, the restaurant was closed as it was a holiday. Breakfast was served to me on my balcony which was a nice touch as I could leisurely finalize my packing and eat breakfast with the view of the beach. The beach is literally across a small street. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels are all provided. The room is cleaned daily. Besides the restaurant in front of the hotel, there are lots of other restaurants along the street serving a variety of cuisines.

    The accomodation is very luxurious. Everything was tought of, even the musquito repellent. The rooms are open so you are in direct contact with nature. The food is amazing and the people are very kind. Location is superb.

    Very friendly and caring owner. I felt safe and 5aken care of as a solo woman travelling. Same time total privacy-so very comfortable. This house has a garden so visits from monkeys, snakes, crabs, hummingbirds and lizards are a normal thing. I watched it almost every day- for nature lovers. I also asked to prepare a breakfast for me and they agreed. So good to know that this might be an option for other travellers too. Giving 5 stars out of 5 and definitely will rent again from Sampath.

    Our host was amazing - Extremely helpful and friendly. The ocean view from our room was beautiful. We also had the luxury of walking straight onto the beach, from the property gardens. The staff was very attentive and helpful too. Superb value for money. I’d recommend to anyone wanting to visit Unawatuna/Sri Lanka beaches.

    The room was excellent, comfortable, stylish. Staff where so helpful, they ran out with umbrellas for us in the pooring rain. The chef is absolutely amazing, we ate the best chicken wings of our lives!! Thank-you to Shafras who works there for ensuring a comfortable stay. Staff friendly and easy going. Location is a bit far from town but worth it, right in the jungle with monkeys around, silent when you wake up, only a few rooms so never too many people around the pool. Very clean.

    We loved EVERYTHING about this place. The pictures don’t render how unique this place is! you truly are in the middle of the jungle, every morning around 7/8 am you could see the monkeys moving around the trees, the room is literally surrounded by nature. But the best part was the staff! Wow! Everyone was absolutely outstanding! Ramil, the porter, the chefs, the waiters, the gardener we had the greatest experience thanks to them.

    I stayed in the penthouse room, amazing as I had my own balcony and a hot tub in the room! the restaurant was on the same floor so i could just walk 2 steps. the chef looked after made me whatever I wanted.

    The staff - incredible! The chef - Incredible! The views - stunning! A superb hotel with lovely comfy beds and huge rooms, best and largest family rooms we have ever stayed in on our travels.
