I had a great stay at Titore Lodge. Karen is so kind and welcoming, which made my stay even better. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. I also liked that there is a hiking trail right by the property, so I could walk/hike into town (I did not have a car).

Everything! The accommodation is perfect in a superb location overlooking the bay. It is Immaculately clean and well furnished, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Basic essentials were provided as well as breakfast cereal, milk, tea & coffee, biscuits and even a bottle of wine. Murray & Pam are the perfect hosts and were on hand with tips/advice during our stay. It's a great base for exploring the Bay of Islands, Paihia itself is a lovely little town, we took the car ferry to Russell and a boat trip from Paihia to the hole in the rock and went to Kerikeri to see the waterfalls. It really is the perfect place if you just want to chill out; we loved watching the sun come up each morning; a stunning view.

Seriously this place is exceptional from accommodation to food. It’s history is colourful and impressive. IT’s scenic location is the stuff of postcards. Superbly appointed and decorated, you get a real sense of the hotels history with a 5 star feel, so we’ll maintained and presented. You really need to stay and dine here. The experience is something you won’t forget and for all the right reasons. 5stars!!

Baden is an outstanding host, with a calm, professional yet friendly and welcoming demeanour. Easy to communicate with and forthcoming with local information. Greg and Peter are the best hosts. Before we arrived they recommended some superb places to eat. The breakfasts are to die for, beautifully presented and making use of ingredients from the garden Peter beats any chef I have encountered. The rooms are tastefully kitted out with everything you could possibly want and have views overlooking the bay. Couldn’t fault it, the most perfect three night stay!

Breakfast was buffet but very good choices. My husband would have liked the option of ordering eggs other than the scrambled egg supplied in the buffet. Dinner menu, food was good but a wider range of choices would have given us more to choose from over a five day stay. Perhaps at least one different chef's special per night?RobYoung couple
