Hospitality, comfort, incredible food (Italian and Vietnamese), proximity to the beach. The hotel also offered complementary traditional boat trip to see the coastline, snorkel and enjoy the beautiful sea, whilst supporting local business. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Everything - the staff is amazing (shout out to Charlotte, Jeremy and Martin as well as all the servers), the location is perfect, the facilities and the room are comfortable and cozy, and it is great value for money. I felt extremely safe as a solo female traveler and would recommend this place to anyone! The beach: I loved the changing tides, it made for a very special experience. In the morning, you could walk out so far and see people farming the algae. by the afternoon, the water was nearly to the hotel property and you could swim easily. In the late afternoon, all the local kids are out playing - girls running on the beach and boys playing football. At night, you can take your flash light on your phone and walk far out as it’s low tide, and admire the stars above you. The hotel room - so clean and comfortable! The hotel generally - beautiful and cozy. I loved sitting upstairs for meals and watching the sea and feeling the breeze. I could always find my own space that was serene and tranquil, even as a solo traveler. They even had water shoes and sunscreen you could use, which really came in handy! Prices were fair and reasonable. Food was delicious (excellent veggie options, great happy hour and cocktails, and excellent fruit juices). Activities- I went on a snorkeling trip on a traditional sail boat and it was amazing! The hotel organized it. Next door is a kite surf place and had I had more time, I would have loved to try. Jambiani is the best area - tranquil though well serviced, still feels authentic despite an obvious influx of tourists.

Exceptional staff! From Daniel at the entrance to all the people in the restaurant. The 3 managers where so kind and approachable, easy to talk with. The whole place feels like a big family! It was so sad to leave Jambiani Villas.

When I think about my time in BeZanzibar, I have a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart. This place is just heaven on earth. Not only because the location is in paradise but because every single part is pure and authentic, with respect voor each other and for the local culture and people. The furniture is made of natural and durable materials in a beautiful and peaceful design. The food is fresh, local and so delicious that it also feeds the soul. Everyone is taking care of you in a lovely and personal way. You can combine enjoying the peace and quit with activities in and out the hotel. The yoga teacher is incredible and it is not possible not to feel her energy, so I would recommend to follow at least one lesson. The massages are so relaxing that I almost had one every day. Swimming with the dolphins and visiting the Salaam Aquarium was really incredible. Even during rain season, there was no place I’d rather be. For me it was the perfect retreat, but I would love to come back with my boyfriend, with friends and would also recommend it with children. This place has a place in my heart, so I’ll be back!I want to give a special Asante for Japhet, Hatham, Adam for making my stay memorable ♡

Together with my husband, we spend our honey moon in Amani hotel and it was a blessed. The staff, the food and the room were perfect! The location is ideal if you want to practice kite surf or just relax in a quiet area. Special thank you to Robert and his team for their kindness and for having embellished our stay. This place was so relaxing and quiet, a beautiful spot a very short distance from the beach. The breakfast was huge and delicious - loved the coffee and hibiscus juice. We stayed here with our three kids and felt super safe and taken care of. The staff were so kind and helpful. The hotel cat was so cute and social!

It's hard to look back and think of anything I DIDN'T like about The Nest. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, the experience was absolutely amazing. The owners have taken exceptional care in hiring the right people to take care of your entire experience. I had never done kite surfing before and the team at The Nest (Thomas was my instructor) were total professionals in handling a complete beginner. The rooms were spacious and very clean. AC worked 24/7 (which was crucial since it was crazy hot in Paje!). Also, the way the rooms open up to the main pool was the best way to meet all the guests staying at the resort. It felt as though I was leaving paradise when I had to eventually check-out from The Nest but hopefully will be back again!
